Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our multidisciplinary team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI and CT scans on Paediatric patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to undertake specialised cross-sectional imaging procedures at a consistently high technical level and professional standard.
  • Represent the imaging department at all times, leading, supporting, and coordinating service provision as required.
  • Participate in regular clinical audit and quality assurance testing to promote continuous improvement in service delivery and quality within imaging.
  • Assess, prioritise, and organise your own workload within assigned areas of work.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and protocols relating to and underpinning the radiology service in line with guidance from the Royal College of Radiologists and College of Radiographers.
  • Be responsible for your own CPD and professional and personal development.
Requirements
  • Professional registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in radiography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
