We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and support to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
  • Provide training and support to learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners to achieve their goals.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork, and general administration.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeships (previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
  • Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly).
  • Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Happy to conduct online remote assessments – and face-to-face when required.
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
