We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Night Porter to join our team at the 4-star Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel. Located in the stunning landscape of North Downs, our hotel offers a unique blend of relaxation and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Assist with luggage handling, package deliveries, and other guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver guest mail, newspapers, and express check-out bills to rooms.
  • Collect room service and breakfast cards.
  • Support Night Management with fire management, walks, and emergency procedures.
  • Attend training courses and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Resilience, creativity, and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts.
