Job Title: AML Compliance Officer Legal

We are seeking a highly skilled AML Compliance Officer to join our team at Pembury Legal. As a key member of our Office of General Counsel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the AML team to maintain consistency and high standards in client due diligence packs.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external AML audits.
  • Provide general compliance support and contribute to the training and development of the AML team.
  • Support the introduction and implementation of new compliance software and enhancements to existing AML policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A university degree, preferably with a focus in legal or business studies.
  • Proven experience of at least two years handling complex AML and other financial crime-related queries at an international law firm.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, client intake software, and financial crime databases such as World Check.
  • Knowledge of current AML regulations and applicable regulatory guidance in the UK.
