We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Edinburgh. As part of our commitment to helping the UK get ready for retirement, we're constantly developing new ways to simplify, improve and revolutionise how we help individuals, employers, advisers, our communities, and the environment.

In this role, you will focus on supporting Mylo, a new permanent cross-functional customer value stream who will own targets to maximise the value of our existing customer base. You will support us through the provision of data, analytics and insight to help achieve our goal in assisting existing workplace customers to maximise their savings.

This is a role where you will have the opportunity to drive impact through analytics, champion data culture, and pioneer the use of data science within an exciting new value-stream, including:

  • Managing the extraction, manipulation and processing of core customer demographic, financial and event data required by the Mylo value-stream from a variety of data sources across Aegon.
  • Designing and building engaging and intuitive data visualisation frameworks / dashboards.

We're looking for someone with experience working closely with business areas to understand analytical needs and deliver high quality insight. You should have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to relate complex technical concepts and data in a simple and understandable manner and make recommendations where appropriate.
