About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Chef to join our team at Bradwell Court Residential Care Home in Congleton, Cheshire, as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents.

Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to work collaboratively with the Chef Manager in preparing quality menus and promoting food hygiene standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Chef Manager to develop and implement quality menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of food hygiene and safety within the kitchen environment, ensuring the well-being of our residents and staff.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to industry standards.
Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrate proven experience working in a catering environment, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Possess a valid food hygiene certificate or be willing to obtain one, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety.
