About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires patience, understanding, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored learning strategies, ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need to succeed.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Provide targeted support to students with SEN, working one-on-one or in small groups to help them overcome challenges and build confidence
  2. Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver lesson plans that cater to individual needs and learning styles
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and developing strategies to address these

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting students with SEN in a school setting
  • A calm and composed demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of using data-driven approaches to inform teaching and learning practices
