Westminster SEN Maths Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join our team at an outstanding secondary school in Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a positive impact on students with special educational needs.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. The salary range reflects the importance of this role in supporting students with special educational needs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Maths to students with special educational needs, adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements. You will work closely with the SENCo and teaching assistants to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Maths to students with special educational needs, using strategies to engage and motivate learners.
- Collaborate with the SENCo and teaching assistants to develop and implement tailored lesson plans.
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform future planning.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes social interaction and academic achievement.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification with a specialism in Maths.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
