About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Operations Manager to join our Structures Team in Water Orton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management, organization, planning, and control of all aspects of lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lift plans to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of appointed persons (APs) to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor lifting operations and provide guidance and support to APs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of lifting operations with other construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in lifting operations management, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and protocols.
