About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Regulation Specialist to join our team at Lancaster City Council. This is a temporary position until November 2025, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing anti-social behaviour and environmental crimes, conducting investigations into complaints, and implementing interventions to improve the environmental quality of our communities.

This role requires excellent regulatory principles, including written advice and warnings, legal notices, and court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with diverse community members and delivering high-quality customer-focused services.

Requirements
  • A full current UK driving licence is essential.
  • Able to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
