Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager - Industrial Chemicals to join our client's team. As a member of the wider group, you will play a key role in driving strategy for profitable and sustainable growth of the industrial chemicals business units. Your primary responsibilities will include playing a key role in the successful achievement of all strategic aims of the unit, increasing sustainable profitability of the business unit, and developing business opportunities for new customers across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in the successful achievement of all strategic aims of the unit
  • Increase sustainable profitability of the business unit
  • Develop business opportunities for new customers across the UK and Europe
  • Maintain and nurture existing accounts within the UK and Europe ensuring high customer satisfaction and healthy long-term relationships

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BSc level or equivalent in a relevant technical/scientific discipline and sales experience within the industrial chemical/speciality chemical additives industry. You should also possess strong commercial skills, an ability to identify new business opportunities, and drive them through to fruition. Additionally, you will need to have good communication skills, professionalism, and strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general IT skills.

Estimated salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. A car allowance, bonus, and benefits are also included.
