As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for proactively reacting to system faults, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, and previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team, adhering to Health and Safety procedures at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with a willingness to learn and a flexible attitude.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively reacting to system faults and repairing
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and repairing
  • Reacting quickly to breakdowns and communicating clearly with affected parties
  • Supporting continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements
  • Adhering to Health and Safety procedures at all times

Key requirements include:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport to work at both sites
  • Flexible and able to work weekends as being on call is required
