**About the Role**

BCL Legal is seeking a highly skilled Contentious Construction Solicitor to join its team. With a minimum of five years' experience in contentious construction, commercial litigation or property damage/litigation, you will be working on a broad range of complex construction and public procurement related disputes.

The ideal candidate will have a keen desire to forge an exciting and rewarding career within construction disputes. You will be part of a close-knit team working with clients across various sectors, including housing, charity, and public sectors.

**Responsibilities**

  • Working on complex construction and public procurement related disputes, including cladding and fire-related issues, contract rectification, and payment disputes.
  • Handling disputes around final accounts, defective works, contractor administration, professional negligence, and challenging and defending public procurement processes.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in contentious construction, commercial litigation or property damage/litigation.
  • A good academic background.
