**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Compliance to join our team at MERJE. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients meet their regulatory obligations and maintain the highest standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Manage regulatory relationships and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory matters to senior management and stakeholders
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior compliance role within an FCA environment (Consumer Lending would be advantageous)
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation
  • Proven track record in implementing effective compliance programs
