Electrical and Mechanical Technician

We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our Area 9 team at Longbridge Depot, CV35 8AA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technology cyclical works and response over your shift, carrying out cyclic maintenance in line with the Client, manufacturer, and British Standards.
This role involves traveling and covering technology assets across the West Midlands network, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in an electrical or engineering discipline, previous experience working as a Technology Engineer on Highways (not essential), and essential electrical knowledge.
Main Responsibilities- Delivering technology cyclical works and response over their shift
- Carrying out cyclic maintenance in line with the Client, manufacturer, and British Standards
- Electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets
- Preparing reports and documents as necessary
- Assisting with project administration and control
- A relevant qualification in an electrical or engineering discipline
- Previous experience working as a Technology Engineer on Highways (not essential)
- Essential electrical knowledge
- A UK driving licence (essential)
- LGV C/CE desirable but not essential
The salary for this role is between £34,000-£38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include:
