Buy to Let Underwriter Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Buy to Let Underwriter to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Buy to Let Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating credit proposals for Buy to Let mortgages and ensuring that our lending decisions are sound and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of BTL mortgage assessment procedures
  • Assessing credit proposals for Buy to Let cases with attention to detail
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in BTL underwriting with a bank or lender
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and guidelines
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
Salary and Benefits Package

We offer a comprehensive salary package of £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance and a pension scheme.
