Your Role:">

As the first Commercial Director of our GridFlex team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the positioning and monetization of our energy solutions, ensuring our customers derive maximum value from their participation in the energy transition.

Our residential electric vehicle charger fleet offers a substantial opportunity to unlock value for our customers across various current and future energy markets.

We're seeking an exceptional leader to drive the commercial management, product design, and revenue maximization for Ohme's services related to grid-connected flexible assets.

Key Responsibilities:">

You'll be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that support our GridFlex business development and team growth.

  2. You'll serve as the point person for financial and performance target setting, opportunity cost analysis, bidding, risk management, asset baselining, and performance verification.">
  3. You'll identify opportunities for us to participate in capacity, balancing, wholesale, and flexibility services, collaborating with our policy and regulation team and product teams to evolve our offerings.">
  4. You'll apply your expertise in the probabilistic nature of decentralized devices (like EV chargers) to influence energy markets structured for bigger, deterministic assets.">
  5. You'll analyze the performance of our fleets through data analysis, working closely with our data scientists and business analysts.">
  6. You'll engage regularly with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and other organizations to stay informed and shape the energy landscape.">

You'll be a genuine expert in GB energy markets, adept at navigating their complexities and uncertainties.

You'll possess creative problem-solving skills, bridging the gap between conventional markets and our innovative fleet capabilities.
