Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project CAD Design Engineer and contribute to the design and development of Wiring Harnesses for automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop Wiring Harnesses according to customer specifications
  2. Manage 3D design data on customer systems
  3. Investigate and resolve EDS-related package issues
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  5. Conduct design reviews to ensure quality and accuracy
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in designing automotive Wiring Harnesses
  2. University degree in electrical, mechanical, or automotive engineering, or equivalent experience
  3. Strong understanding of Catia V6 and electrical workbench
  4. Familiarity with SDS, design guidelines, DVP, FMEA, and APQP
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  6. Fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  7. Full Driving Licence and right to work in the UK
Estimated Salary:

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
