History Teacher Position in a Thriving Mixed School

We are seeking an exceptional History Teacher to join our highly successful and well-resourced department at an outstanding mixed school based near Lewisham, south London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4. Our department boasts a supportive and approachable head of department, creating an ideal environment for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach History at Key Stages 3 and 4, developing engaging lesson plans and assessments that meet the needs of all learners.
  • To contribute to the development of the History department, participating in curriculum design and review.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified History Teacher with:

A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).The ability to teach History at Key Stages 3 and 4.Experience in delivering high-quality education to students of varying abilities.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
