Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Heaton House Farm. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all food operations across our multiple locations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our farm-to-table philosophy and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create bespoke menus for weddings, corporate events, and other functions.
  • Oversee food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and optimize food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through special events, supper clubs, and fine dining experiences.
  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to promote our culinary offerings and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a multi-site kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent organizational, financial, and time management skills, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creating innovative, farm-to-table menus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the demands of our business.
