Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Work closely with the EMEA working group and global Networks team to monitor and troubleshoot the network, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Network Support

Provide network support for production, office, and end-user environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.

Network Configuration and Maintenance

Perform moves, adds, and changes in the network, as well as perform market connectivity tests and circuit migrations.

Technical Expertise

Provide technical expertise and support to ensure the network meets the needs of the business.

Requirements
  • Experience

3-4 years of experience working with complex, high-performance networks with multiple sites (data centers and/or trading facilities).

Knowledge and Skills

Significant knowledge of client-server architectures and network design, as well as the ability to work with traders and technologists to balance competing and/or quickly shifting priorities.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of Arista EOS and Cisco NX-OS/IOS, Layer 1 devices (Metamako or Exablaze), routing protocols (OSPF, MSDP, and PIM), BGP, multicast, VPN configuration and troubleshooting, datacenter installation and cabling standards, network monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, Wireshark, and SNMP), and network security and firewalls.

Certifications and Education

CCNP certified and Systems administration experience (preferred), as well as strong scripting skills (such as Python) and good knowledge of Linux.
