Key Responsibilities
  • Input to Permanent Works where there is an interface with Temporary Works methodology and sequencing.
  • Responsible for meeting temporary works design requirements and delivering them to time and budget.
  • Ensure a suitable temporary works design brief and programme of requirements is received.
  • Ensure design risks are considered and prepare Designers Risk Assessments, communicating residual design risks as appropriate.
  • Lead or support temporary works assurance on projects through conducting audits and regular meetings with project teams, identifying best practice, areas for improvement and areas of concern.
Requirements
  • Strong numeracy capability and able to use analysis software e.g CADS pile wall suite, Autocad, Civils 3D, Revit, Robot.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good report writing skills.
Desirable Qualities
  • Holding a valid CSCS card to visit sites is desirable.
  • AutoCAD and/or Civils 3D software.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry or experience within a project-based organisation.
