Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join one of our South Manchester schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality education to KS2 students and be committed to fostering a love of learning in their pupils.

The successful teacher will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high-achieving Year 4 class. Key responsibilities include creating engaging lessons that align with the KS2 National Curriculum standards, understanding age-related expectations, and building a positive rapport with all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging lessons that align with the KS2 National Curriculum standards
  • Understand age-related expectations for children within KS2 and scaffold and stretch accordingly
  • Keep up-to-date records of data and analyse where and what to reteach to bridge gaps in learning
  • Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively as a team player with the TA, key stage and wider staff
