Proposal Specialist

Bluegate Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Proposals Specialist to support our client's team in East Kilbride, Glasgow.

This role involves working with potential customer enquiries, managing and submitting quotations, and communicating with customers.

• Review sales enquiries, including specifications and technical drawings
• Select equipment from our product ranges based on technical requirements
• Produce commercially and technically viable quotations
• Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements
• Manage all contractual documentation from enquiry to handover
• Maintain and update quotation status via Epicor
• Support the sales team throughout the bid process
• Administer supporting, commercial, and sales documentation

• HNC / HND Mechanical Engineering or above
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales environment
• Comfortable working with an ERP system (preferably Epicor)
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (electric motors, pumps, fluid mixers, etc)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to prove right to work in the UK

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technical sales principles and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively. A salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum is offered for this role.
