Job Title: Operations and Maintenance Lead

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

About the Role:

The Operations and Maintenance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across multiple locations at Interpath Advisory in London. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities, managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, and developing and implementing facility management policies and procedures.

  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage facilities projects, including renovations, space planning, and other improvements.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets for facility-related services and repairs.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to ensure everything is functioning properly and meets set standards.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to a team of facilities assistants and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding facilities performance and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience as an Operations and Maintenance Lead or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of facility management, building maintenance, and health & safety regulations.
  • Collaborative Leader: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Proficiency in budget management and reporting.
  • Relationship Building: Experience in managing vendors and third-party service providers, and proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
  • Academic Qualifications: Degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
