Specialist Teacher SEMH

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teacher SEMH to join our team at Education at Ivy Resource Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a positive impact on their lives.
Job Responsibilities
As a Specialist Teacher SEMH, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will also develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for each student, assess, record, and report on their progress and attainment. Additionally, you will provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and experience working with students who have SEMH needs. You must have a strong understanding of SEMH policies and best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including ongoing support and guidance from our specialised consultant, Ellie.
