Laser Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team at Apex Resource Management. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our laser cutting machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting tight deadlines.

• Operate and maintain laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components
• Interpret and work to CAD/engineering drawings to manufacture components to specification
• Use engineering measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain machinery by cleaning and performing routine checks and maintenance
• Work with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
• Remove and clean finished parts ready for production
• Perform daily TMP checks and general maintenance of laser machines
• Complete quality control checks and documentation
• Meet tight deadlines and targets

• Experience of operating laser cutting machines, preferably Amada, Bystronic, or Trumpf
• Machine operating experience and ability to work from own initiative
• Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Self-motivated individual with ability to plan and work independently
