Role Overview

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap for core assessment products, ensuring features are properly specified and prioritized.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and testers to ensure that product increments, sprints, and releases meet high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Roadmap: Develop and maintain the roadmap for assessment technology products, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Backlog Management: Lead the prioritisation of product features and technical requirements, optimising the flow of work.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Regularly engage with internal teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication about progress and managing expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Guide teams in implementing agile/lean practices, ensuring continuous improvement in both technology and processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all software deliveries meet relevant standards such as ISO9001 and ISO27001.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in technical product ownership within agile and lean delivery structures.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of software development, DevOps practices, and deployment across varied environments.
  • A strong ability to lead teams in breaking down and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Significant experience working in regulated environments, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • A passion for improving processes, technology, and product quality.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, lead teams, and navigate interpersonal conflicts effectively.
