Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting students in the classroom and during practical sessions, ensuring they have the support needed to excel academically and vocationally.
About the Role:- Supporting Learning: Assist students in the classroom and during practical sessions, providing individualized support to meet their unique needs.
- Individualised Support: Provide tailored support to students with Autism, ADHD, and Moderate to Complex Learning Difficulties, adapting your approach to meet their needs.
- Promoting Independence: Encourage students to build their skills, confidence, and independence, helping them thrive both in school and in their future endeavors.
- Collaborative Working: Work with teachers, SEN specialists, and other staff members to implement effective learning strategies and support plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Observe and record students' progress, offering feedback to teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure that each student's learning plan is effective and impactful.
- Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD, and Moderate to Complex Learning Difficulties, is advantageous.
- Qualifications: While a relevant qualification in education or SEN support is desirable, it is not essential.
- Skills: You should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Teamwork: A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and their families is key.
