Assembly Operative Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join our team at KES Solutions UK Limited in Spennymoor. This is a permanent day shift role with an early finish on a Friday, offering a great work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aluminium or UPVC, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

  • Using hand tools such as drills and saws to assemble and manufacture products
  • Measuring and cutting material to precise specifications
  • Quality checking finished products to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Performing general warehouse duties, including receiving and storing materials

Please note that this is a physically demanding role, requiring heavy lifting and manual handling. Essential experience includes:

  • A minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility to work weekend overtime, which is paid at a premium of £16.00

Desirable skills include experience in manufacturing Aluminium windows, doors, and related products, as well as proven ability to measure and cut profiles using powered cutting tools.
