Job Title: Machine Setter and Welder

We are seeking a skilled Machine Setter and Welder to join our team based in the UK. This is a permanent role with clear career progression opportunities.

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to fabricate, join, and assemble components.

You will use dimensional tools to ensure individual part and batch dimensional compliance, fasten and join seams in sheet metal using solder, welds, inserts, etc.

In addition, you will assemble individual metal components in compliance with customer specifications and drawings, use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces and joints.

Key responsibilities include selecting the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal according to specifications, ensuring safety is a priority during all manufacturing processes, and conducting work in an efficient and professional manner, maintaining clean and tidy areas.

This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, Monday to Friday working hours, paid higher rate of overtime, 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays, Company Personal Pension Scheme, and Discretionary end of year bonus.
