Job Title: Digital Industrial Engineer - Process Optimization Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Industrial Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge AS. As a Digital Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in driving process optimization and industrial digitalization initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Lead the implementation of process optimization projects to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Industrial Digitalization: Develop and implement digital solutions to drive industrial digitalization, including the use of advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, and data analytics.
  • Manufacturing Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement manufacturing process improvements, including the development of new manufacturing techniques and the optimization of existing processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: HNC / Degree in Engineering
  • Experience: Extensive experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, and industrial digitalization
  • Skills: Strong understanding of general mechanical / production engineering principles, systems, and machine operation; extensive experience in PLC / Scada and digital tools (software, programming); strong background in lean manufacturing
