About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Hampshire CAMHS Fareham & Gosport Community Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Provide comprehensive assessments of mental health needs and develop effective intervention plans to support children and young people.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs, including case management and lead professional responsibilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practice.
