Technical Coordinator

Reed Food & FMCG is seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join their team in Bedford. As a champion of technical and quality across the business, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the quality system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop the quality system to ensure compliance with BRCGS +AA accreditation.
  • Work with senior managers to drive the business towards maintaining its BRCGS +AA accreditation.
  • Ensure all organizations' own brand suppliers meet audit requirements for supply to the customer base.
  • Monitor the ongoing quality of businesses' own brands and ensure technical/quality specifications are up to date and adhered to.
  • Ensure Health and Safety systems are audited and checked with senior managers on a regular basis.
  • Final approval/sign off on packaging/labelling for any businesses' own brand products.
  • Work with senior managers to ensure critical path for launches are put in place and managed accordingly to deliver launches on time.
  • Propose new products in line with company strategy and current market trends.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification within Food Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in Quality or Technical role.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, BRC) is highly desirable.
