About the Role

Penguin Recruitment seeks a skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to contribute to innovative design and sustainable construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Structural Engineering or a related field and a solid background in design and analysis of various structural systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Analysis: Develop structural designs for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
  3. Technical Excellence: Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Requirements
  1. Qualifications: A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in structural engineering, with a solid background in design and analysis of various structural systems.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, Tekla) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to engineering problems.
  5. Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred, as site visits will be part of the role.
