Design Director Role:

We are seeking an experienced UI Design Director to elevate our work and lead design teams to create meaningful, beautifully-crafted, and innovative experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital-first branding combined with human-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of UI designers to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and feedback as a positive role model to ensure the team's work meets high standards of quality.
  • Define, concept, design, and implement a design strategy and vision aligned with the brand and needs to create exceptional and creative digital experiences.
  • Presentation of design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Champion all areas of the Human-Centered Design process to create deliverables grounded in insight aiming to validate hypotheses.
  • Conduct and analyse user research to inform design decisions.
  • Design, oversee, and implement Design systems for large scale brands.
  • Oversee multiple design projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and impactful experiences.

Requirements:

We are looking for a leader who is confident in their abilities and has a passion for design and innovation. Key tools include Figma, Keynote & PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Atlassian project management tools, and Prototyping tools such as Protopie, Figma, Principle or Invision.
