Job Overview: Audit and Accounts Specialist

As an audit and accounts specialist at Haslers, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of clients' accounts. The role involves:

  • Carrying out audit and accounts assignments, including preparing draft accounts and VAT returns.
  • Completing financial analysis and reconciliation tasks.
  • Working with clients to resolve any financial or compliance issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including a wellbeing allowance of £400, 25 days annual leave not including bank holidays, paid Birthday Day off, paid Volunteering Day, and a pension scheme with employer contributions increasing with length of service.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points preferably in academic subjects.
  • A minimum Grade 6 or above in GCSE Maths & English Language.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • A full clean driving licence.
