BMS Engineer

AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join their team. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project, including collating design documents, attending project handover meetings, and evaluating value engineering opportunities.

• Collate all design documents and drawings
• Attend project handover meetings
• Evaluate value engineering or cost saving opportunities
• Prepare coordinated drawings covering all aspects of the installation
• Review and understand project design specifications and drawings
• Assist in the production of weekly progress reports
• Assist in the compilation and assessment of technical submittals
• Process requisitions and generate purchase orders
• Verify receipt of equipment and materials
• Clarify queries with the design team through the RFI system
• Understand commercial fundamentals of a project
• Liaise with design team, contractors, and project team on technical and commercial issues
• Attend technical meetings
• Carry out document control and recording
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Organize and assess work of sub-contractors
• Carry out quality control through inspections and snagging

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Significant project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor
• Previous record of delivering small to medium mechanical projects
• Capability of walking down mechanical systems
• Experience developing technical submittals and completing technical reviews
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
