About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Specialist to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Mauchline. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life by providing responsive support in our brand new state-of-the-art housing project.


As a Community Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting individuals to maintain their wellbeing and independence. Your responsibilities may include:



  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with healthcare professionals;
  • Providing social support by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities;
  • Helping individuals to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, and cooking.

Requirements



  • No prior experience in care is required, as we provide full training through our learning and development team;
  • A valid driving license is required, which allows you to drive manual vehicles;
  • You must be able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of your start date.
