Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Youth Support Practitioner to join our team at a newly established children's home in Bishop Auckland.

About the Position: As a Youth Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people with complex health needs, providing tailored care and support, and creating a safe environment for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children with complex needs
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children, promoting their emotional well-being and resilience
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a residential or care setting working with children is essential
  2. Qualified to Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willing to work towards
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. A passion for delivering positive outcomes for young people

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
