Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and prepare equipment and materials for science lessons
  • Support science teachers during practical sessions and experiments
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed, including COSHH regulations
  • Clean laboratory spaces to meet safety standards
  • Assist with stock management and ordering resources
  • Provide guidance to students during practical lessons

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations and their practical application
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
