We are seeking a talented SQL professional to join our data and analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining databases, utilizing ETL tools, and ensuring data security and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain databases and utilize ETL tools to pipeline data into the data warehouse.
  • Troubleshoot issues between systems and develop solutions to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Review current ETL and data warehouse setup and implement improvements.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation.
  • Protect data by developing data security and restoration controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in database administration or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SQL database querying and relational data models.
  • Experience in database backup, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization, and data security.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data warehouse tool Snowflake and data pipeline tool Rivery.

Salary & Location

The estimated salary for this role is £49,500 per annum, depending on experience. The location is Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
