The role of Junior Press Officer at TopCashback offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic press office, interacting with experienced media professionals and learning the inner workings of an in-house brand press office. As the first point of contact for media inquiries, you will assist in promoting the benefits of savvy spending and help spread the word about TopCashback's mission. Your responsibilities will include creating proactive media communications, brainstorming content ideas, and drafting comments for journalists. You will also have administrative duties such as monitoring media coverage and producing reports. If you are motivated by a career in PR or communications and enjoy working as part of a team, this role may be suitable for you. The position offers flexible hours and hybrid working, with occasional travel to TopCashback's HQ in Staffordshire. We are invested in helping our Junior Press Officer get the most out of their year with us, so we welcome candidates with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.

**Requirements**
* Desirable: Studying a related university course to maximise knowledge and experience – such as media, journalism, film, communications, politics or finance
* Eagerness to learn about the PR industry and media communications
* Accuracy, attention to detail and proof reading skills
* Clear communicator - written and verbally
* Personable – a desire to build relationships and a genuine interest in people to manage internal and external relationships, including potential case studies
* Time management and prioritisation skills – after training you will be required to manage your own workloads, so the ability to be reactive to changing priorities and demands whilst working to deadline is key
* Creativity and imagination – someone who is alive to new and emerging trends who is not afraid to contribute content ideas from early on
* Familiarity with email systems e.g. MS Outlook, Gmail is beneficial but training can be given
