Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Operative to join our client's team in Gloucester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the soil and rock samples, assisting with the day-to-day operations of a busy drilling plant and vehicle yard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of soil and rock samples.
  • Ensure accurate and timely forwarding of samples to laboratories.
  • Operate a forklift for loading and unloading, and movement of pallets as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the yard, stores, and warehouse.
  • Assist with stock checks on equipment and contribute to maintaining / improving Safety & Quality objectives.
Requirements:
  • Forklift license is essential.
  • Reliable worker with a good working level of computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm.

Salary:

£11.44 per hour.
