Job Overview

Narro, an employee-owned structural and civil engineering company based in Scotland and North East England, is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Engineer to join their team. Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Narro offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and training, as well as a chance to work on diverse and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small projects with modest supervision, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Design and Development: They will assist in preparing design calculations, following established procedures and guidelines, and contribute to the company's ICE Approved Training Scheme.
  • Health and Safety: The Graduate Engineer will ensure awareness of risks associated with construction sites and unoccupied buildings, prepare project risk assessments, and maintain quality safety standards.
  • Commercial Awareness: They will understand the need for projects to be profitable, monitor financial performance, and prepare fee quotations and claims when required.

  • Actively training towards chartered membership of a professional institution
