Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description: As a Performance Analysis Engineer at Arm, you will be responsible for driving and investigating the performance of automotive software and use-cases. You will perform workload characterization to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions. You will also analyze system-level performance, CPU/GPU/memory/bandwidth utilization, power dissipation, and instrument real-world software workloads for real-world performance and efficiency measurements.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in SoC performance modeling and performance analysis in the semiconductor industry. You should have a degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Architecture. You should also have a strong understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including knowledge of areas such as processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy. In addition, you should be proficient in C/C++ programming languages and have experience with performance analysis tools like perf, vTune, and Streamline.
