Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading UK manufacturer in Leighton Buzzard. This role offers a competitive salary of £57,134, plus overtime at a premium, and a range of excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing electrical maintenance services, departmental support, and repairs on a wide range of machinery, including inverters, motors, conveyor-based systems, panels, PLCs, and automation machinery.
  • Working within a skilled team of engineers to deliver plant-wide electrical maintenance services.
  • Performing PPM and reactive maintenance on industrial-scale production machinery.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification by either a full Advanced Electrical Apprenticeship (Level 3) or NVQ Level 3 and BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, undertaking PPM and TPM activities.
  • Previous experience in undertaking maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to electrical problems.
