Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and control all operational aspects of our refurbishment projects in and around London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maximizing profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, health and safety, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals and objectives, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery and future business opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager/Team Leader in projects over £1 million.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification, or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with project management software.
