A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Assistant in Academics Ltd, a specialist school for children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs and Autism based in Kidlington.

The ideal candidate will have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology, and be able to work effectively in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This role requires an individual who is proactive, adaptable and able to use their own initiative. Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour is essential.

  • Mental Health Assistant
  • Social and Emotional Mental Health Support
  • £80-£95 per day
  • Full-time Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm

The SEN children in this school require a teaching assistant who understands their complex needs and is able to provide support and guidance in a sensitive and empathetic manner. Level 3 qualifications+ are also required and a Degree would be highly valued.
