Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working a continental shift pattern to provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant. You will utilise and enhance your skills in electrical fault-finding techniques to test and repair production machinery.

  • Utilise Electrical fault-finding techniques to test and repair production machinery.
  • PLC fault finding and modification using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • To ensure maximum machine available time at least cost, through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Play an active role in the planning, controlling and over-seeing daily routines and inspections.

This includes:

  • Providing electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
  • Utilising electrical fault-finding techniques to test and repair production machinery.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of a HNC qualification in an Engineering Field.
  • 2 years' experience of hands-on maintenance in an FMCG production environment.
  • A knowledge of Siemens/Allen Bradley control systems with the ability to interrogate the software to diagnose faults.
What We Offer

You will receive a competitive salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience, with lots of overtime opportunities and current engineers earning upwards of £50,000 + benefits.
